How copyright claims, takedowns, and counter notices are handled

Last updated: March 2026

Submitting a takedown notice

If you believe content on UGC Stock infringes your copyright, send a notice with your contact details, identification of the protected work, the allegedly infringing URL, and a statement made under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act for the rights holder.

Notices should be sent to our designated copyright inbox at support@ugcstock.co. We review each request, preserve relevant audit data, and temporarily restrict the reported asset while the claim is assessed.

Counter notices

Creators may submit a counter notice when they believe material was removed by mistake or misidentification. The counter notice must include consent to the relevant jurisdiction and a statement made under penalty of perjury.

When a counter notice is valid, UGC Stock may restore the content if the claimant does not notify us of court action within the statutory response window.

Repeat infringement policy

We track substantiated copyright complaints, moderation actions, and account level enforcement history. Accounts with repeated or abusive infringement behavior may be suspended, have payouts delayed, or be permanently removed from the marketplace.

Fraudulent notices and abusive counter notices may also lead to account enforcement and disclosure to the affected parties when legally required.
